Zurich. Andreas Kramer had finished the season after Vincamp this weekend.

He is ready for the Diamond League finals in Zurich.
– It was just a matter of getting out and training again, he says.

– No, it was decided that Finnkampen would be my last competitor, so I basically finished the season after the 800m last Saturday, he says.
The idea was to take a few days off, but it was just to get out and train right away.
– I knew I wasn’t too far behind in terms of points, but I was hoping to join the Brussels Diamond League on Friday to make up for the lost points. But I didn’t get a place there, and then I thought the opportunity was missed.
Now he is one of eight finalists.
And it’s not just competition.
It is the most popular of the season and has three times the prize pool versus the regular Diamond League.
The victory not only awards $30,000 – just over 300,000 Swedish kronor – but also gives a free WC spot in Budapest next summer.
And Kramer does not see himself because of luck.
– It’s my first time playing the Diamond League Final, so I’ll just fight. I have the opportunity and the form is fine and everyone is arriving there on similar terms.
A total of six Swedes
Andreas Kramer finished fourth in the EC in Munich just two weeks ago.
Then he beat, among others, the Frenchman Benjamin Robert, who scored the most points in the 800 meters before the finish in Zurich.
With Kramer, there will be a total of six Swedes in the Diamond League Finals on Wednesday and Thursday.
