Armand Duplantis postponed a trip to visit his future girlfriend Desiré Inglander.

It’s been nearly two years since he met his girlfriend, model Desiré Inglander, at a midsummer party.

In an interview with Elle, the couple talks about their first time together.
We’ve been dating for 3-4 months and I’ve been back to the US to train for the outdoors season. I usually never travel if I didn’t have to, but Desiré was in Istanbul working as a model, so I postponed my trip to the US and went and visited her instead. Then I realized this is real. It was a wonderful thing for me to do. Then we had a great vacation together, says Duplantis.

“You want to support Swedish companies”
The couple is also asked if they experienced “cultural clashes” in their relationship because they did not grow up in the same country.
– Not much in a relationship. Armand is like, sometimes you’re too Swedish for me. Englander says you know every step of becoming a typical Swede.
In connection with the interview, Duplantis and Inglander are portrayed by Elle. Duplantis then revealed that he loves the “Scandinavian minimalist style” of clothing and therefore buys Swedish brands.
– I started it about 1.5 years ago. I felt grateful for the position I am in and how welcoming all Swedes are. So I thought that when I had the opportunity, I wanted to support Swedish companies, Duplantis tells Ellie.
