Breaking the World Cup in a comfortable lead for Arsenal in the English Premier League.
Martin Odegaard won the first leg 2-0 against Wolverhampton with two goals.

Even before the event, it was clear Arsenal would go into the World Cup break as league leaders – regardless of the score in the match against Wolverhampton – as Manchester City lost points to Brentford earlier in the day.
But the situation improved after the final whistle.
They got a comfortable 2-0 win. Norway’s Martin Odegaard led his team to a two-stroke victory.
A goal in the second half
Fabio Vieira, who replaced Granit Xhaka when he had to step down after 15 minutes of play, entered the penalty area in the 55th minute and played for Odegaard, who managed to score his first goal.
Odegaard added with a quarter of an hour remaining. He cautiously remained in front of the return and pushed the ball into the goal for the final score 2-0.
Not sure about Xhaka
However, the victory could prove very expensive for Xhaka. His face paled, he stuck to his stomach and squatted a few minutes before the change. After a short layoff, he received treatment and then returned to work. But the courageous attempt to continue was in vain.
What upset the 30-year-old remains unclear, but the star’s images remain worrying for the Swiss national team as the World Cup approaches.
Arsenal is leading now Premier League Five points behind Manchester City.
