The penalty for the criminal classification of aggravated assault ranges from one and a half to six years in prison.

Blood spurted into the cabin and Kid Anderson had to take the ambulance to the hospital for emergency surgery.
“Kid Anderson suffered severe dental damage, broken jaw and bleeding from the wounds. The lawsuit states that the crime should be considered serious because the suspect showed recklessness and particularly brutality by striking Kidd Anderson’s head with a stick and because Kid Anderson caused severe bodily harm.”
– I consider that there is sufficient evidence that it was a deliberate act that caused serious harm. I expect a conviction, says Prosecutor Helena Valkyrie.
According to the initial examination, the upper lip was fissured on the right side and outlined by 4-5 centimeters, the maxillary bone was crushed in several places and several teeth were damaged in the upper jaw.
The plaintiff’s cross-examination stated that he vomited at least twice in the cabin due to shock.
– Probably because I sprayed him with water, but I felt someone hit him with a baseball bat in the middle of his mouth. I felt as if my entire jaw was being pushed as if it was reaching my throat. I was shocked and just felt a tooth in my mouth and didn’t know where to go. Then the pain came and it was the worst pain of my life, Kidd Anderson says in the interrogation.
hard to sleep
The hearing was just over a month after the match, and the incident was still a huge shock to him.
I find it hard to sleep, I think about it a lot. Everything from the accident to the hospital until now. I sleep very late around six in the evening. If I think about it more, I feel bad, I try to think about it as much as possible. When I sleep, I have many nightmares. I had to eat soup and had to drink through a straw and couldn’t talk, says Kidd Anderson.
According to witness interviews, the people in Hill/Obigby called an ambulance, but the Avesta captain told them there was a Fonus outside.
The accused admits to the course of events, but denies committing any crime.
According to him, he aimed at the water bottle and hit it.

The main hearing in the district court is scheduled for March next year.
The Swedish Ice Hockey Association suspended the player until December 31, 2022.
