Djurgården and Hammarby seemed to share the points for a long time.
But in injury time, Pagen midfielder Elsa Carlson decided after a corner kick.
Conditions were good for Monday’s derby at Stockholm Stadium. The sun was shining and there were two high heels in place.
On the field, there were two teams that were desperate for points. Djurgården had the opportunity to increase the distance to the bottom team, while Hammarby would overtake his rivals by three pointers.
The first truly dangerous goal opportunity of the match came just over 15 minutes later, after a neglect in Baggen’s defence.

Then Hammarby came to press more and more during the first half, but the first goal came only in the second half.

After winning the ball in midfield, Emilia Larsson was fired on the left wing. Hit a Bägen player with an accurate entry and met Velde Haasund with his left foot. The ball went perfectly into the goal across the crossbar, and Bagen’s 1-0 lead was a reality.
Then the away team kept pressing for another goal – but instead it was Djurgarden who came to repeat the match.
After 73 minutes, Dowd sent a free kick into the penalty area. A little outside the penalty area, Lindwall fired a left-footed shot, and the ball found its way to the right post of the net.
1-1 on the field.
And it seemed like the end result for a long time. But in a corner kick in the final minutes, Elsa Carlson reached the top of the corner, and the midfielder nodded 2-1.
The 29-year-old has become the derby major champion – and has now defeated Bajeen Djurgården away for the first time.
