HIF wants clubs to get together and rule out the agent
Helsingborg. Football agent Balash Hosseini is in a bad mood.
Now Sportbladet can reveal that he is not welcome at Olympia.
This is someone we don’t open the doors to at Olympia, I can say, says Joel Sandborg, director of the Helsingborg club.
He now suggests that the SEF clubs get together and exclude Hosseini.
There is an intense storm around football agent Balash Hosseini.
Two of his Allsvenskan players, Mohanad Jeahze and Anthony van den Hurk, refused to play for their two clubs (Hamarby and Helsingborg respectively) despite being signed.
In an article yesterday, the football channel was able to tell several players that they were appalled by Hosseini regarding the transfers and that several of them chose to end their collaboration with him, including Filip Dagerstoll, who was formerly at Norrköping and now at Polish Lech Poznan.
He also criticized several leaders of the Husseini club, albeit anonymously, in the article and say that they leveled criticism against him. The football channel also says that Allsvenskan FC lured him from their arena.
When Sportbladet speaks to Helsingborg IFClub manager Joel Sandburg does not want to confirm Sportbladet’s information that in the Fotbollkanalen article HIF was the one who turned Hosseini on.
– But all the people we don’t think belong to Olympia find out. This is someone we don’t open the doors to at Olympia, I can say, says Sandburg.
You now practically confirmed that it was you who turned it?
– I don’t want to comment on that. More clubs may have done it, but I can make it clear that it is not welcome here.
‘Not very serious person’

However, we have to be very clear that this is someone we want to keep away from the club and the players as much as possible because we think he is someone who is not very serious.
In what way is he dishonest?
– Just read the article on the football channel and everyone in the industry will understand that this is someone with their own agenda and we think you should have a respectable way of working, which I can say we have with the absolute majority of the industry – both clubs, agents and players. Sometimes people who think they can do exactly what they want show up and treat clubs and players exactly the way they want to. Well, we can say that he belongs in that category who doesn’t stay on the right side when it comes to maintaining relationships and long-term relationships, but just does whatever is best for himself.
Will you be able to manage not to deal with him? Because that means you can’t get players in HIF who have an agent?
– We are ready to raise this issue in the SEF room between sports directors and club directors. When agents are like him, where we know we’re not the only ones with that opinion about him, then the clubs have to decide that if this is someone we shouldn’t deal with or work with, let’s meet and make sure we don’t.
– At HIF, we like to talk to the player himself, but we don’t talk to him.
Is this a new attitude from you regarding Hosseini during this transfer period, or did you get it before?
– He has other players with us, so it’s not just this single “case” with Anthony that makes us think he’s unprofessional. Things have happened before, so this has been going on for a while.
“Know that more and more clubs have the exact view that HIF has”
Sandborg continues to push the path that elite clubs in Sweden should boycott/disqualify an agent like Hosseini who, according to HIF, operates in a dishonest and unprofessional manner.
I think that in Swedish football we can come together to help the players so that they don’t end up in bad situations and so that we clubs can get a good job and work with those who are doing things for the right cause. In this way, we must also decide when there are people who we think do not.
Would you like to see your clubs merge here?
– We know there are more clubs that have an exact HIF view. Here you just have to decide to ensure a good environment for the players who are here and for us as a club so that we can work in a good and credible way. Then you can decide together that if the person in question does not start working in a respectful and professional manner, you will not work with them. I fully believe that such a question could be on the agenda in the future.
Is there any other agent you don’t want to deal with or is it just a Husseini?
– You obviously work fairly well with different proxies. This is not just an opportunity, but a common thread in how it works and how it affected players in how they act when they want to move. I wouldn’t say we have any other agents on any kind of list.
Did Hosseini make an official mistake that made you consider reporting it?
– No, such things are not on the agenda. But there are morals you can relate to. “We work with long-term relationships and he doesn’t,” Sandburg says.
