Barry Trotz offers free beer for the rest of his life at Winnipeg Jets

The Winnipeg Jets are said to be looking for Barry Trotz as their new coach.

Now a local brewery wants to help lure him to Manitoba.

They give him free beer for the rest of his life if he signs for an NHL club.

Barry Trotz is one of the most sought after names in the NHL’s ongoing coaching circuit.

After four seasons with the New York Islanders on Long Island, he was expelled after missing the Stanley Cup playoffs.

There are currently vacancies for Head Coach available at Winnipeg JetsVegas Golden Knights, Philadelphia Flyers, Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings or Boston Bruins.

A local brewery wants to help him bring him to his hometown in Canada with free beer for the rest of his life.

– It’s just a fun initiative. We thought people would be tagged a little bit and who knows, maybe the coach will come here,” James Hoover at the company tells AP.
