It became clear today (Wednesday) that Bayern Munich have appointed Sadio Mane.
The 30-year-old Senegalese has spent the past six years at Liverpool winning the Premier League and the Champions League, among others.
– When my agent told me about Bavaria’s interest, I immediately became interested. “Before recruitment became official, I could see myself right there,” Mane told German BILD yesterday.

Long speculation about the future
Mane’s future has been speculated for a long time as he only has a year left on his contract with Liverpool before the summer. The same situation applies to Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool confirmed the signing of striker Darwin Nunez last week for a record sum, which opened the way for Mane to leave if the right offer came.
Mani’s final amount comes to around SEK 340 million for Bayern, an amount that could rise to SEK 437 million if certain items are met.
Sadio Mane will be Bayern’s third signing of the summer, having previously signed Ryan Gravenburch and Nassir Mazraoui.
Mane signed a three-year contract with Bayern Munich.
