“Be close to jumping off the balcony on the 26th floor”

“On April 28, 2022, I was about to jump off my balcony on the 26th floor to end my life,” Jelena Dokic wrote.

In an Instagram post, the Tennis Profile talks about his mental illness.

In the photo, the 39-year-old Serb has red-gray eyes and a red swollen face.

Jelena Dokic shares her mental issues in an emotional post on social media.

Recently, a month and a half ago, she was on the verge of committing suicide to stop the pain and suffering.

“I will never forget that day. Everything is blurred. Everything eats dark. No nuance, no picture, nothing important. Only tears, sadness, depression, anxiety and pain. The past six months have been difficult,” writes Jelena Dokic.

Hiding in the toilet

She tried to hide and not show her outward feeling to the people around her.

“There was constant crying everywhere. From hiding in the toilet at work to wiping away tears so that no one could see them, to crying uncontrollably in the house within four walls is unbearable.”

Jelena Dokic writes that she felt that it would not pass and that her life had been shattered.

It turns out that she’s starting to hate herself and wants to end it herself.

It was supposed to save her life being able to pull herself off the edge and get professional help.

Want to pepper others

The post was written to help others and let them know that they are not alone with their problems.

“I can’t say I’m feeling great, but I’m definitely on the way to feeling better. Some days are better than others and sometimes I take a step forward and then a step back, but I struggle and I think I can get through this.

I believe in the following:

It’s okay to feel what I feel.

It’s okay to get frustrated, just fight to get back.

That’s what I’m trying to do and that’s what keeps me going.

Don’t be shy about how you feel.

It’s okay to feel that way and you can come back from it, just keep believing.

I love you all and this is fighting and surviving to experience another day.

I will come back stronger than ever.”

Dad scared him
