AIK Celebrated in Friends Arena
Bear Carlson, 36, played his last AIK game.
The rodent icon has been widely praised in the Friends Arena.
“This is something I will carry with me for the rest of my life,” says Carlson with tears in his eyes.
Since the team debuted in May 2003 Bear Carlson He made 438 competitive matches in the black and yellow jersey. Thus, he is the player with the most matches in AIK history.
When the Allsvenskan season ended on Sunday, Carlson played the last game of his career, when AIK lost 1-0 against Elfsborg.
Celebrated with Hurricane
Before kick-off and before the second half, the center back celebrated with strong hurricanes.
“My friends and family are here today and I speak for everyone when I say this was a very impressive performance,” Carlson says in front of the AIK crowd after the match.
In the last minute of the match, Carlson was substituted, which led to a standing ovation in the Friends Arena.

Earlier in the year, Carlson suffered a concussion, which kept the central defender away from the football field.
