Union Berlin fans fired rockets into the field in the middle of the match, threw assault rifles that forced families with children to flee the stands and finally forced the referee to stop the match in Malmö for about half an hour.
However, the Union Berlin players chose to go ahead and honor them immediately after winning 1-0 and celebrating with their supporters.
It caused a reaction from many MFF players.
– They shouldn’t have done that. This does not belong in the football arena. This is their job to answer it. But I think it should be flagged, says Joseph Sesay.

– You should symbolize them (Under Berlin players). One can understand celebrating with their fans, but that tells us more about their team than anything else.
