This year, Frederik Weigel again returns to Bjorkloven, the club he left two seasons ago. After the 19/20 season, Stockholmer returned to the capital to play for AIK. There he had a prominent role, gaining 42 and 29 points, respectively, over the seasons.
“I’m not surprised”
This year, AIK gathered strength and was excited about the season, but it didn’t deliver. After 17 rounds of play, the club is in 10th place in the table. Then Frederick Weigel sends boots to his former club.

After a penalty shootout against Beck Karlskoga, the Stockholm team lost, but they started with two victories after the break.
– I hope they don’t hit rock bottom. They should be in Allsvenskan or the SHL, but I’m not too surprised that it’s more difficult for them, says Weigel.

For Weigl’s Bjorkloven, there was a 2-0 loss to Södertälje on Friday night, and there the 30-year-old, who also played for SSK, was in the hot air.

– There was a good atmosphere today. The atmosphere here is not usually good, but they are playing well so the fans are starting to come back. It’s fun to play hockey when there’s good pressure.

– Well, we’d better win.
