Boubacar “Steve” Trawale finally made his Hammarby debut.
In the cup final against Malmö FF, he is ready for 90 minutes.
– Everyone has been waiting for this moment and finally here it is, says the 27-year-old.
Hammarby’s new acquisition, Boubacar “Steve” Trauley has been sidelined with a knee injury that has kept him out of action since joining the club.
But in the ninth round came the long-awaited start.
13 minutes before the end of the match against IFK Norrköping He made the striker jump to the delight of the home crowd.
It feels good to finally be there with the players and the fans. It was a wonderful moment for me and my family. I’m happy and proud, says Trauley noting the welcome Hammarby fans.
– I could hear the sound. Everyone has been waiting for this moment and it is finally here. It was three points too so it was good for everyone.
“I am ready”
Hammarby won 3-0 and now leads the Svenskan again. On Thursday, Malmö FF awaits the cup final and Trawally hopes to celebrate his title right away.
– It will be the beginning of a dream and I am looking forward to it.
Can you play 90 minutes or how much do you have in you?
– I am ready. When the coach and the team need me and they feel it’s time, I’m ready to go. Physically, I’m ready.
How much time do you need before you’re back in full match shape?
Sometimes it takes a while to hit the beat. Step by step, everything is going in the right direction. I’m glad I played a few minutes today and hopefully I can do some things in the final as well, says Trawale who feels he learned the Hammarby match.
I know the style of play and how everyone plays because I trained with the team. Now there are no excuses, I will work hard and join the team. It’s a good team so it’s not easy to get straight to 11 at the start. I have to work hard for it and that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
