Färjestad beat Rögle after extra time

The Rögle striker was responsible for a true technical record in the overtime loss against Färjestad.

At the end of the first half, tied at 1-1, Rögle’s Brady Ferguson showed evidence of his fine ball skills.
Teammate Vojtek Muzik kicked the ball towards goal when Ferguson, with his back to the goal, raised his right leg and kicked the ball past Varjestad.
However, the referee immediately waved the goal away with a “fail”.
Abbott protested
Rögles coach Cam Abbott also waved his arms in the booth for a very different reason. He didn’t understand that the target was ruled out.
“After video evaluation, it appears that the ball was played into the goal with a distinct kicking motion. Hence, there are no goals.” Stimulating the situational chamber of SHL Twitter.
Brady Ferguson was the leading scorer in the game anyway, when it was tied at 2-2 early in the third period.
Joachim Nygaard scorer with two goals
The match went to overtime with Joachim Nygaard hitting two points for Färjestad, his second goal of the match.
FBK star fullback Theodor Linström returned after an injury layoff and played over 23 minutes.
