Brian Robinson could return to Washington – Tennessee

Five weeks ago, he was shot twice in the leg.

Washington captain Brian Robinson, 23, is already back in training and could be back this weekend.

I am the king of adversity, says Robinson, according to ESPN.

Brian Robinson was a victim of burglary and car theft when he was shot twice in the right leg in late August, ESPN reports.

The 23-year-old debutante recovered quickly.

Just five weeks after he underwent surgery for a gunshot wound, he’s back training with the team.

– He’s half Wolverine (a cartoon character) or something, says co-worker Jonathan Williams, according to ESPN.

“King of adversity”

Robinson describes the time since his shooting to returning to training with the team as “probably the worst” of his life. Hence he got involved in a lot, says the contestant.

– I think I’m the king of adversity. I have dealt with many adversities in my life. This was just another time where I needed to be stronger from adversity, says Robinson.

Coach Ron Rivera has not ruled out Robinson’s return on Sunday. The 23-year-old has only one thing on his mind.

“I expect to be in control as soon as I’m back on the field,” says the rookie.

The Washington captains face the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
