Brynäs is giving up his new match shirt after criticism from fans

Brynäs introduced a third gray jersey for the season.

Before meeting the opposition away to Leixand on Thursday, it will be cancelled.

– We saw early on that this wasn’t quite right, says Johan Kahling, Head of Commerce and Sustainability.

Brynäs launched an alternate gray match shirt as a third kit this season.

The match’s gray shirt was criticized and ridiculed by fans and foreigners.

Above all, many responded to the fact that it was due to be used in the challengers’ meeting against Leksand in Dalarna on Thursday.

“Better back off.”

“Reception among the Brinas fans has been mixed, however as Imminent did not feel they could relate to the jersey,” the club wrote on their website.

The gray jersey was meant to symbolize all the Brynäs fans in the country, but had a very different meaning.

– Sometimes not all initiatives arrive quite correctly. Then it is better to hold back than to stubbornly claim that something is good. We will continue to challenge ourselves and our environment, but we must also be able to acknowledge when something is not going well. Unfortunately, this doesn’t sit well with many people with a brown nose, says Johann Kahling.

Use one match

Brynäs made the decision to remove the gray match jersey and not play in it anymore.

Instead, the team continues to play in the more classic match shirts, the black match shirt and white match shirt respectively.

The only time the jersey was used during the regular season was in a 5-3 loss against Frolunda in Gothenburg on 25 October.
