On Thursday, the 19-year-old forward trained with Brynäs in Gavle.
On Saturday afternoon, he plays for the Brenas against Rogel in Angelholm.
Just over two days, 48 hours, before the SHL premiere, Brynäs signs from Rögle.

The reason for the club change is that Rögle has a fleet of talent, with 16 strikers available, he’s played two of the four CHL games but was a bit far from the squad’s squad at the SHL premiere.
At Brynäs, William Strömgren appears to be the number 13 striker in his first competitive match of the season.
– William Strömgren was one of the hottest players in Hockeyallsvenskan and scored the most points among all the J18 players out there with Modo. Sometimes he was really in control. We were really interested before last year and when the opportunity came up now, we wanted to take advantage of it. He is very skilled in handling disk and has great potential. We see him as a future name aiming to play in the NHL in a few years’ time, says sporting director Johan Allsen.
The striker misses the first show
Head coach Mikko Maner told Jevel Dagblad that Brenas is still looking for another striker in the squad.
William Stromgren shared a U18 bronze with Småkrona in Texas in 2021 and was drafted into the NHL in the second round as a total of 45 by Calgary Flames that same year.
Meanwhile, Rögle called up striker Daniel Ljungman, who had been recruited from Linköping and loaned to Kristianstad in Hockeyallsvenskan.
