HV71 lost against Växjö
Växjö had defeated HV71 at the same time Brynäs beat Skellefteå.
The battle for the bottom is now even fiercer.

For Jönköping, it was a slam dunk in the bottom battle with seven games left to play.
Since Brynäs won the parallel against league leaders Skellefteå in Västerbotten, the battle for the bottom is getting more intense.
Dmytro Timashov became the champion in overtime, 2-1, when he slid the puck past Linus Söderström through Linus Lindström’s skate.

The victory meant that HV71 and Brynäs were on the same score.
– I just tried to score it in the goal and then went skating. Very pleasant. We struggled in several matches and couldn’t get the result. Now it’s good to get two points against Skellefteå, says the match hero.
Timashov also scored the first goal in the match.
