On March 22 it was announced Charlotte Calla She will end her skating career.
After a tough season, the Swedish queen of skating had a magical end with her victory in the 15 km freestyle at the Swedish Championships in Petio.
Cala is now living a new life as a “retired” and recounts the emotional time at the end of her career on the podcast “Run Kindly – With Jesus and Mane”.
– I decided one hundred percent on Sunday and I will compete already on Wednesday. Almost sleepless, I struggled to calm down on Tuesday when I had posted on Instagram that the Swedish Championships at Piteå would be my last as an elite skater, says Cala and continues:
– He was surely drunkenly for confirmation and for the wonderful greetings which came to me that evening. It’s been a long time since I’ve tried it, in recent years it’s mostly been a street long for questioning and I wouldn’t hide under a chair because things like that make me feel suspicious and anxious.
