Christian Volwind was responsible for a bizarre outburst in the losing match against Swedish team Freiburg Goteron.
Now Ajoie’s coach is being fined SEK 64,000.

Ajoie is a huge player in the NL Swiss Hockey League.
In last week’s loss to Freiburg Goteron, which featured four Swedish players, coach Christian Volwind lost his nerve in the final minutes.
Just two minutes before the end of the match, in a match that ended 3-1, he made wild movements towards the opposing team’s coach, Christian Dube. Wohlwend made crying gestures and joked about Dubé’s hairstyle and clothing style. HC Ajoie was handed a two-minute suspension for unsportsmanlike conduct.
64,000 fines
But it didn’t stop there. The league’s disciplinary committee announced today that the coach was fined 64,000 Swedish krona due to his behavior.

Emotions took over, but there was no negative intent behind the behavior. Unfortunately, the video does not show Christian Dube’s behavior. They both screamed and insulted each other, but unfortunately I can only be seen in the video images. In his defense, he says that the competing coach also crossed the limits.
