Chun In-Gee, 27, has bagged the PGA Championship and the historic big prize check of 13.5 million Swedish kronor.

The third women’s major of the season, the PGA Championship, is scheduled for this weekend at the popular Congress Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.
And it was South Korea’s Chun In-ji who immediately took the lead after a meaningless opening round on Thursday with five kinds of big lead.
It went the way of the finish, but the victory was hard inside.
Thompson threatened
Chun In-Ge got off to a terrible start on the final lap on Sunday and lost four strokes in the first nine holes.
Meanwhile, American star Lexi Thompson, 27, is beginning to climb the field.
Thompson was in the 50th split after Thursday’s opening lap and a win from the bottom so far hasn’t happened on the scoresheet in a major context in 14 years.
Now it was close.
But with only a few holes left to play, Thompson was incredibly ahead by two strokes.

The American made four boobies in the last seven holes and eventually Chun In-Ge was able to roll on the winning throw and secure his third major title of his career.
It was also her first-ever victory since fall 2018.
– It means a lot. I haven’t won in several years, but I know the fans at home in South Korea kept believing in me the whole time, says Chun In-Ge, with tears of joy afterwards.
The winning amount – 13.5 million crowns – is the largest ever in the history of the PGA Championship.
Anna Nordqvist became the best Swede in 16th place.
