Cristiano Ronaldo got angry when he was substituted by South Korea.
Now he reveals why.

Portugal suffered a crushing defeat in the last match in the group stage against South Korea, and Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo was forced to leave the stadium without goals in the 65th minute.
According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, he must have vented his anger on the bench over the change and asked to stay on the field longer.
But that wasn’t the only thing that bothered Ronaldo.

Confederations captain Fernando Santos explained afterwards that Ronaldo’s anger was directed against the South Korean player and not Santos himself.
“Ronaldo was angry when he was substituted, but that was because the South Korean player insulted him when he was leaving the field,” he says.
Despite the shock loss, Portugal qualified for the Round of 16 as Group 6 and face Switzerland.
