Djurgården drove over Östersund in Hockeyallsvenskan

Stockholm. Djurgården took revenge on Östersund.

In the second meeting of the week, the newcomers were thrashed 6-1 – after a dream start.

– As we wanted, Marcus Kruger told C More.

A modest 12 seconds passed before Djurgården took the lead in this week’s second meeting with Östersund.

A puck that the visitors thought was going to go to the ice was scrapped by Olle Liss. Instead, Trisan bounced right in front of goal and Marcus Kruger could have easily made it 1-0.

After the home team took the lead and into the break, it was 3-0 after goals from Wiktor Nilsson and Olle Liss.

– It was exactly as we wanted it and we put it, Markus Kruger tells C more about this period.

– It was terrible, summed up Alexander Underberg.

I went on a tough tackle

In the second half, the just-mentioned Anderberg put up a tough fight over Djurgården’s Tim Söderlund, who went into the booth somewhat dazed.

Everything lit up and then there was a volley of dismissals.

Among others, Cameron Schilling sent the puck over the rim and glass and was forced to bench. But even though there was one man less, it was Djurgården who struck. Frederick Forsberg extended the lead to 4-0.

Just minutes later, Tim Soderlund and David Westlund bumped into each other, and when Cameron Schilling was also sent off, Östersund scored in a four-on-three match.

Got revenge – climbs the table

It didn’t help much. Djurgården ran away to a full 6-1 before the match ended.

And so the Stockholmers took revenge after the loss on Wednesday and climbed to second place in the table.
