Djurgården is in a big race for BP’s super talent Lukas Bergvall.

According to Sportbladet’s info, the two sides met within days – and the 16-year-old will also have a meeting with a club outside Sweden soon.

Lukas Bergvall, 16, from BP, is one of Sweden’s most sought-after talents. Despite his young age, he has already made eleven appearances for BP in Superettan and scored his first goal on October 5 this year. Consolation goal in a 4-1 loss against Östers IF. There he is partly responsible for the boys’ academy, but he is also involved in the men’s team and assists sports director Boss Anderson. According to Sportbladet’s information, Djurgården has now had a meeting with Lucas Bergvall, which has been confirmed by several sources. The Blue Stripes are working on signing the talent, although they have yet to agree with BP on a transfer fee.

But Djurgården has presented a plan to Bergvall and wants to include him in the squad build for next season. BP know the player has a lot of interest and the club will likely sell the 16-year-old in 2023.

The player will also visit another club outside Sweden in the near future and will not rush into making any decisions. During this season, when BP transferred to Allsvenskan, Bergvall accounted for 11 matches, 1 goal and 1 Superettan appearance. His contract with BP runs until December 31, 2023.
