There was great drama.
But after a 2-3 away away game against APOEL, Djurgarden qualified for the Europa League group stage.

On the other hand, it was dramatic.
Djurgården got off to a horrific start after Apoel took the lead in the seventh minute. Sirius and former MFF player Kingsley Sarfo, who didn’t take part in the first meeting because he was convicted of child rape and was deported from Sweden, hit a corner that Jacob Wedel Zitterström couldn’t grab. After some pinball in the penalty area, Anton Majlika collided 1-0.
In the 23rd minute came the next cold shower. Danny Blume hit a free kick straight into the net after Widell Zetterström was in the wrong position.

“Incredible ending”
Djurgården has recovered somewhat after a difficult start and still had a goal to his credit for the last 45 minutes. Apoel kept holding the initiative in the second, but he didn’t have the same pressure as in the first.
However, Dejorgaarden had little chance and did not create the first situation until Gustav Wickheim hit the post from the post in the 66th minute. Just minutes later came a more serious situation. But it was Djurgaarden who sealed the match in the 90th minute. Widell Zetterström retaliated after his interference in the goals when he fired a long shot at Joel Asoro who dribbled away from Apoelbacken and made it 3-2.
After that, local fans threw a lot of things into the stadium. Among other things, Haris Radetinac was hit by a glass or bottle. Things continued to flow for a long time. There was also a quarrel between the players before the final whistle.
– This is absolutely unacceptable, of course. It is a high risk of injury. There will be heavy fines. Pär Lagerström says it shouldn’t look like this in a square.
Djurgarden is now ready for the group stage of the Europa League, which guarantees just over 30 million prize money, but the amount could be much higher than that.
