Djurgården’s Victor Edvardsen warned – suspended in derby

Djorgaard star Victor Edvardsen will miss the derby match against Hammarby next weekend.

He was cautioned for speaking out in the first half against Sirius.

– Such a damn bad level, says Edvardsen in Discovery.

The match between Sirius and Djurgarden was just over 35 minutes old when referee Christopher Carlson pulled the yellow card.

The situation ended when Djurgården attacking star Victor Edvardsson was brought down from behind by Tim Björkström.

The referee saw: “Terrible.”

The referee was satisfied with awarding a free kick to Djurgården, prompting Edvardsen to confront referee Karlsson.

– If he doesn’t cut me off, I have half the whole field to work on. It’s awful it’s not a yellow card. Then I ask a question and immediately receive a warning. I think it’s a very bad standard, he says Victor Edwardson In discovery he adds:

– Damn picky.

Missing the derby: “unprofessional”

The warning means the 26-year-old is suspended for the derby against Hammarby next Sunday.

– It can’t happen. Unprofessional, says discovery expert Emily Zaar Olander.

Former professional judge and fellow expert Jonas Erickson fills in:

– Of course you should be allowed to reply. Most of the time, players don’t always understand how or how to say it on the field. Erickson says he’s facing a difficult intervention from behind, but you still have to think about what you’re going to say at the end.

Djurgarden took the lead after Gustav Wickheim scored 1-0 in the 26th minute.
