Djurgården is the strongest team in the Allsvenskan.
Today’s fifth straight win came when they beat Varnamo 5-0.
Captain Magnus Ericsson scored the first goal of the season when he scored two goals.
“It was hell for you to take me on time,” he told Discovery Plus.
Pierre Bengson sat on the bench and allowed midfielder Elias Anderson to play as a left-back. Additionally, Rasmus Schuller was missing due to injury and initially looked a bit shaky for Djurgården.
But after a quarter of the game it was Anderson who hit the perfect shot, Haris Radetenak reached the top and nodded in the third goal of the season.
A quarter of an hour later, it was time again for the home team when captain Magnus Eriksson broke the zero season goal.

Djurgården could break high in the attacking break, Eriksson hit the pace and hit the step and the ball was at the closest angle to 2-0.
Hell was taking me on time so it was nice. We’re pushing hard, that’s good. “I’ve been fooling myself out there and getting stuck in it,” Ericson says to Discovery Plus.
In the second half, Djurgården continued the attack as Emmanuel Banda finished third, and Magnus Ericsson doubled this year’s goal tally to 4-0 before Victor Edvardsen finished off the goal by scoring the final 5-0 in overtime.
The big win means Djurgården is the new league leader by two points over BK Häcken, who has played two games fewer.
