Eintracht Frankfurt-Rangers: Big interest in tickets for the EL final

Eintracht Frankfurt supporters showed great interest in the Europa League final.

Kicker says the German club has received 100,000 (!) tickets.

Despite the joy of support from our fans, distributing tickets will now be just as challenging, says Axel Hellmann, a spokesperson for Eintracht Frankfurt.

20,000 tickets. It’s the number that Eintracht Frankfurt Rangers participated in the European League final, which was held at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium in Seville, and has a capacity of more than 40 thousand spectators.

But more Eintracht Frankfurt supporters would like to see the match in place. The club received 100,000 (!) Tickets request.

“We expected a very large wave of inquiries, but this interest within 48 hours is enormous and has exceeded our expectations,” Axel Hellmann tells Kicker.

A new Spanish invasion awaits

Eintracht Frankfurt achieves its first European final in 42 years. And even if the club didn’t anticipate 100,000 ticket requests, it wouldn’t be a huge shock as there was so much interest among fans to get to Seville.

In the quarter-finals, which were held, like the final, in Spain, Eintracht fans faced a mass coup beyond the ordinary. It was reported that 30,000 Germans were at the site in Barcelona and at the Camp Nou.

For the final, only one-tenth of interested fans will receive a ticket across the club.

We know that many will be disappointed. But I assure you that we will try to get every ticket we can get through the official channels to give as many fans as possible the opportunity to be in Seville, says Axel Hellmann.

In addition to the 20,000 tickets awarded to clubs, 7,000 tickets will go to UEFA and the rest will be sold to the public, according to Bild state.

The final between Eintracht Frankfurt and Rangers will take place on May 18.
