Robinson joins the European Championship squad

But she was too nervous to follow the team.

Elaine Robinson was one of two players who were set to join Peter Gerhardsson’s squad for this summer’s European Football Championship.
Turns out it was working the correct side border.
The message arrived at half past six on Tuesday evening.
Then Robinson sat at home on the TV sofa – and watched Polybumba.
– I’m in shock. I was nervous. I couldn’t watch, I told Sportbladet.
“I asked my husband to scream”
The 29-year-old – who became a mother in December 2020 – has had injuries during the season, so it wasn’t clear she would be among the 23 names.
But her varied routine and heroism made Gerhardsson choose to direct it.
How did you know then?
– My husband was sitting there and I said that if I was with that cry, then he screamed …
– I’ve struggled with this since I came back from pregnancy. This was my big goal. Of course it was a bit difficult and before the first injury I was at my best.
How will you celebrate?
– Haha I don’t know. I’ll have to put my son to bed when the Bolibompa is over, I guess. I’m still in shock.
Maybe your husband Philip can fix something as you disappoint France?
Yes, we’ll see if it works.
