Emil Berggren on moving to Norway: ‘I have no idea’

The Swedish Gold Championship for Svehof means that Emil Berggren’s residency as sporting director at Partlekloppen is now over.

In a few months, the moving pregnancy will go to Norway with symbiont and handball star Jamina Roberts.

– I have already had a lot of opportunities, he says.

In 2019, Emil Berggren became sporting director of IK Savehof.

Since then, the club has taken to the Swedish Championship gold, the Gold Cup on the men’s side and now also the Swedish Championship gold on the women’s side.

In a few months, the moving load will move to Norway with cohabiting and handball star Jamina Roberts, which means Emil Berggren will be leaving his position as Partilleklubben’s sporting director, something previously revealed by Sportbladet.

Roberts will once again become a professional abroad after returning to Sävehof 2020. But what Emil Berggren will do in the neighboring country is not yet clear.

– I have no idea what to do in Norway, maybe nothing, maybe a lot, he says and continues:

– I’ve already had a lot of opportunities but it’s not something I’m very thirsty for.

Nubar’s return

Earlier this week, he visited parent club Eskilstuna Guif on the association’s official Facebook page about a possible comeback. “If I had trained for 10 days, I would have played 60 on your men’s team,” he wrote in a comment.

Despite this, he is eager for a possible comeback in Norway.

– I didn’t think about going into the player’s career in Norway, that would have been a joke. But at the same time I would probably have been able to score three or four goals from nine meters in a team from Norway, I probably would. But I can’t warm up and I can’t leave the primary function until the time runs out.

And so the women’s gold match with the Sävehof was the 35-year-old’s last advantage as the club’s sporting director.

– I have a few months, but in terms of pure competition, I’m leaving. It got a bit more emotional after the match, maybe because of that a little bit. That was cute, he says.

Emile Bergerin.
