But the Brits have had a rough start to 2023.
After being knocked out by Coco Gauff in the second round of the Australian Open in January, the 20-year-old made a drastic decision.
– I deleted WhatsApp and Instagram from my phone. After that I lived under a rock, says Emma Raducano according to Eurosport.
Sometimes you go through periods when you just want to focus on yourself and I was so happy with my life without her. I’ve learned that no matter what you do – good or bad – people will have opinions.
Emma Raducano is back
Emma Raducano was hampered by a sore throat and wrist injury after the Australian Open, but is now back in action. On Thursday, she played her first match in nearly two months when she beat Danka Kovinic in the first round of Indian Wells.
– I’m not one hundred percent physical, but you never will. I take it day by day. Raducano says, I will try to pass the tournament and we will evaluate it later.
