Emmanuel Banda is ready for HNK Rijeka.
He leaves Djurgården after three seasons in Swedish football.

There have been heated encounters in the Europa League qualifiers between Djurgården and Rijeka, but despite this, Sportbilette managed to reveal this weekend that Rijeka was close to picking a player from Diver.
Emmanuel Banda’s contract expired after last season and he is now ready for the Croatian club.

– He is clearly saddened to leave an association that was my home. I was welcomed here with open arms and quickly became part of the Djurgården family, says Banda on the Djurgården website.
– Panda was a very valuable player who got many important points for us and was always loyal to the team, even if he had less playing time sometimes. But despite this, he kept his spirits up in Kaknäs with his cool personality. He was very popular within the entire federation and it always feels a little sad when that kind of player leaves, says sporting director Boss Anderson.
Three seasons in Djurgården
“I want to win titles and that’s why I decided to come here,” Emmanuel Banda tells Rijeka’s website.
Banda scored against Rijeka in the Europa League qualifiers.
– It was two tough matches. The first match in Rijeka was the hardest, although we managed to win.
Emmanuel Banda played three seasons in Djurgården scoring a total of nine goals and five assists in 57 Allsvenskan matches.
Banda has played 14 international matches for Zambia.
