The former Sweden captain is not retired but does not have a career in football.
“I turned down the offers and since then I haven’t closed any doors,” says Hamrin.
He left his job as captain of the Iceland national team in November 2020.

Instead, we ask about Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the new Serie A title in Italy with Milan.
– I think it’s great fun for him. I love him so much and it’s so funny that he wins this title. We’ll see if he runs another season, it won’t surprise me. But we don’t know, Hamrin says, we will see.
Above all, it’s fun for him to come back to Milan and help them win the title.
How impressive is it that an individual can raise the level of the team so much?
– He has this ability. It makes very high demands on itself and very high demands on the environment. He is also someone who many younger players look up to and who then has the opportunity to influence them in a good way.

– But I refused the offers I received, so we’ll see what happens.
