Färjestad’s winning streak was broken.
The league leaders lost at home to Timra after a controversial goal was disallowed.
– It should have been approved, says Karl Dahlström at TV4 Play.
Midway through the second half Karl Dahlstrom thought he had made it 2-1 for Farestad at home to Timra.
Backen poked the puck after a soft situation where teammate Lukas Forsell was in goal square.
After a minute of video review, the goal was cancelled.
– The green player interfered with the goalkeeper inside the goal area, thus not scoring a goal, the referee announced over the loudspeakers.

Instead, it only took ten seconds of downfall before the ball was in the second cage via Anton Lander.
– He (Forssell) goes to the grill, it’s easy to say he’ll do everything he can to get away from there, but he goes towards the puck and then… I don’t know. We win the battle in front of goal and score goals. I think it probably should have been a goal, but it’s easy for me to say that, says Dahlstrom on TV4 Play.
The visitors then led to 3-1 and in the final period Filip Hallander closed shop when he scored 4-2 from a free position.
Series leader Färjestad thus had to see the streak of four consecutive victories broken.
-We are very bad today. He does not advance and is generally naive. 2-1 we could have had it, I don’t know what the rules say, then it would have been a different game. But then we move away, says Linus Johansson in his summation.
