Linus Johansson came down limping at CHL
Färjestad floundered in Poland.
A 3-4 loss against Krakow means they may have lost the group win in the CHL.
Additionally, captain Linus Johansson had to retire injured.
After winning 5-1 at home in Karlstad a week ago, Färjestad suffered an unexpected away loss to Krakow.
The Polish team won the CHL meeting 4-3 in the last round of Group F. This means that FBK misses the group win, which appears to go to Germany’s Straubing instead.
Linus Johansson injured
Färjestad needed to win and take out the goalkeeper with just over five minutes remaining and two goals behind. Joel Nystrom shrank in the power game, but they never came close.
In addition, captain Linus Johansson, who leads the team’s internal scoring in the CHL, had to leave after just a few minutes of play. Johansson had trouble supporting his right leg when he got off the ice and never got back into the game.

Marcus “Lilis” Nelson played up all three goals and Faristad, despite losing, through the playoffs. They meet Lulia at SHL next Thursday.
Lulia, focused on the reserves, beat Aalborg 2-1 after extra time. Five juniors were selected and two of them scored the home team’s goals. Oskar Lundqvist, 18, scored 1-0 and Isaac Hedgvist, 17, decided.
