The Spaniard, who turned 41 this weekend, has signed a multi-year contract with Aston Martin, owned by Lawrence Stroll, with his son Lance Stroll driving the other car.
I have known Lawrence and Lance for many years and they have the ambition and passion to succeed in Formula 1. I have seen how the team has attracted great and experienced people, I have also visited their new facility in Silverstone and seen their resources. No team in F1 has greater visions and shows more commitment to winning, says Alonso.
