It’s been twelve days since Brenas was relegated to Hockeyallsvenskan.
Now comes the first news of the upcoming season from Yavel Club.
Captain Anton Rudin extends the contract for three more seasons.
On Monday, Sportbladet was able to reveal the remaining details of Anton Rudin staying at Brynäs.
It is now clear that the 32-year-old striker, who has been captain for the past four seasons, will stay.
“Anton Rudin needs no further introduction. With nine seasons behind him in the first team, most recently as captain, he is an important cog and leader,” write the club.

According to himself, the decision to extend the contract was not difficult.
– I have a great desire for revenge. It was hard not being able to make the playoffs and having to watch it from the sidelines. From the start, there was only one way, and then there were many, many deep conversations with sporting director Johan Allsen and the management to get every detail in place. We all Brynäsers need this fresh start, and I’m really looking forward to it, says Anton Rödin.

Brynäs is not yet finished with a coach for next season.
Head coach Mikko Manner was fired before the playoffs and was replaced by Uwe Mollen.
Malmö won the qualification between the last two teams in the SHL by a score of 4-1 in matches.
