Last Saturday, loaned from Helsingborg club, Amin Al-Hamawi struck with a half-court goal for Saleh. shred IF in overtime in a 4-1 win over Qviding in the Southern League.

“He takes custom wherever he goes,” the club’s Twitter account noted.
Because that was Turner’s fourth goal from his own half in just over four years in the Southern League.
The club’s first goal in Division One, after just three minutes in the 2018 Premier League, was actually a free kick from 70 metres.
– Once a coincidence, twice … Well, maybe, but three or four times – then maybe it’s not a coincidence anymore. Then there may be an ulterior motive. Another player told Amin during the break that his goalkeeper was out of reach and that he should keep an eye on it, coach Richard Ringhoff said.

Do you do it a lot?
– Yes, pretty much. We probably spend 70-80 percent of our training time on this. No, I’m just kidding.
As there is no 100 attempt behind it?
– No, not really. In fact, I don’t remember any attempts other than the ones that were logged. So it’s not like we’re trying in batches and minutes.
No reward for scoring from half the field?
– No haha. This is just a fun thing.
Even after the third goal from their half, in August last year, Torrens asked IF on Twitter if they were setting a world record.
– We challenged other clubs if they did the same thing, but no one responded. So I hope we are alone in this. It’s always fun to be alone with something.

– I can ask our speakers to call Guinness. You should probably go there and that was great.
I don’t think Stahre has proof
The win over Qviding was important for the team as it increased the distance to the qualifying streak and they are now 9th in the standings.
– Qviding was 14-7 at the end, 11-5 of them on goal, but we won 4-1. Efficiency is important in football.
Ringhoff, who made over 470 appearances as Torns IF coach, is making his third stint at the club after, just like last fall, he jumped this spring to save the team in the first place.
Three high-profile events await Torn next month: league leaders Jess, IFK Gothenburg in the Sweden Cup, and a derby against Lunds BK – all at home.
– Great fun, interesting and challenging.
Do you think they have a hand on your big gun now?
– (Laughter) No, I don’t think Mikael Stahr sits down and exposes us so closely that he sees that we’ve scored goals from half of us four times in over 1,500 days.
