Another successful year for Fridolina Rulfo, 29.
For the third year in a row, the award holds until next year.
– I feel so grateful and proud, says Rulfo.
Fridolina Rulfo continues to impress in the FC Barcelona team. After a strong season in one of the best club teams in the world, and several great efforts in the Swedish national team, Rulfo was named player of the year.
– It feels so good! This year I didn’t score many goals, but I feel very happy to receive this award when I look at the names of the great players who were also nominated, she says and continues:

– Both Stena and Jonah had really good years, so I feel grateful and honored to be selected in that competition.
This will be the third year in a row that Rolfö has won the award.
– I feel like I’ve become more complete as a footballer in the year I’ve spent playing in different positions. I feel like I’ve grown as a player, Rulfo says, especially in the defensive game as I’ve expanded my repertoire.
Reached CL final
Last spring, Barcelona reached the final of the Champions League, where they surely lost 3-1 to Lyon.
– It was a very positive year for me, with very funny football memories and the Champions League final. Going through the fall in the club’s squad, Rulfo says, feels like the best season yet, so now I’m looking forward to 2023.
