Fridolina Rulfo was awarded the Diamond Ball for the second year in a row.
Sweden’s best footballer was moved when loved ones sent their regards after receiving the award.

Fridolina Rulfo cemented her position as the best female footballer in Sweden.
When Sydsvenskan’s editor-in-chief, Jonas Kanji, read the nomination for the Diamond Ball, Fridolina Rolfö’s description echoed.
– A player who played a big and important role in one of the best club teams in the world thanks to his sense of play, technique and speed. In the national team, I continued to perform at the highest level, says Jonas Kanji in Sportbladet’s Football 2022 broadcast.
‘Fantastic year of football’
Fridolina Rulfo is pleased to receive the Sydsvenskan Award and the Swedish Football Association.
– First of all when you see how many talented footballers there are in Sweden. I feel incredibly proud and happy, says Rulfo.
The past football year for Fridolina Rulfo included, among other things, a league gold after winning all matches with Barcelona and losing a final in the Champions League.
With the national team, he won bronze at EC this summer.
It’s been a great year for football. Probably the best I’ve had so far. There are many highlights of the year to choose from and I have been in a lot for both the national team and the club team. It’s been an interesting and educational year, says Rulfo.
Greetings from friends
In the 2022 football season, Fridolina Rulfo received several video greetings from people close to her. From her sister, from two childhood friends and from the national team friend Magdalena Eriksson who played with Rolfo already when they were 15 years old.
– I was very touched, wonderful, says Rolfo in a cracked voice after the salutation.
