Gabriel Landeskog sells exclusive luxury villa in Alvesjo: “one of a kind”

Gabriel Landeskog is selling his exclusive dream home with plot on the beach in Alvesjo.

A property of 336 square meters with ten rooms and a kitchen. The asking price is SEK 25 million.

– The family was not able to be there as planned and thought, says Father Tony Landeskoog.

Three years ago, Gabriel Landeskog moved into the family’s summer home.

The majestic villa with freehold beach plot was built in Långsjön between Älvsjö and Segeltorp in 2000.

– It was a dream he had all his life because he was too young to live there. It’s a very special location in the areas of his childhood, says Tony Landskog.

basin in Toronto

The 30-year-old forward has been playing for the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL since 2011.

In addition to living in Denver, the family with wife Melissa, daughter Linnea Ray, and son Lucas had their headquarters in Toronto, Canada, where the wife was from.

– They haven’t had many opportunities to come to Sweden in recent years due to the Corona pandemic, the Stanley Cup, and injury rehabilitation. So they are selling now for practical reasons. They’re in the process of changing accommodations in Denver, too. There will be no other residence in Sweden in the future, “Gabi” will not leave its roots, says Toni Landskog.

Focus on rehabilitation

For ten seasons, Gabriel Landskog was the captain of the Colorado Avalanche.

In 2022, there was the long-awaited Stanley Cup title, but he missed this season and will miss the next due to repeated knee surgeries.

– There is full focus on rehabilitation now. He trained with, among others, Conor McDavid and Stephen Stamkos in Toronto over the summer. There won’t be much time in Denver either, but he’s cruising around for private training in different places where he gets the best help. Tony Landskog says there’s a long way to go before you can play again.

Last summer, Sportbladet was around when Gabriel Landeskog took the Stanley Cup around private quarters in Alfsho.

Among other things, there was a dinner with meatballs and cup noodles cooked at home and a visit to Herrängen School where he attended elementary and middle school.

Four stoves

The three-storey villa is located on the sunny side of Långsjön with a terrace of 65 square meters, lawns and a beach in the southwest.

Among other things, it has four fireplaces, an automatic irrigation system with 15 water sprinklers, three bathrooms, a sauna, a hot tub, and a three-meter-high ceiling in the entrance floor.

– There are no similar objects in Älvsjö or Huddinge of this size, condition and location. It is a unique accommodation that cannot be compared to anything else. We expect good interest, but there will only be private sightings with speculators who can secure financing, says broker Christofer Svensson Fastighetsbyrån Hägersten / Älvsjö, who is selling the object.

This summer, Gabriel Landeskog was also involved in the purchase of the classic English football team Leeds.
