Grant Wahl dies during the World Cup – wife explains why

No crimes have been linked to Grant Wahl’s death.

His wife, Celine Gunder, talks about the cause of death on the journalist’s website.

No cardiopulmonary resuscitation or electric shocks could have saved him. Gunder writes.

American journalist Grant Wahl collapsed and died in the stands during the World Cup quarter-final between Argentina and the Netherlands.

Now his wife, Celine Gunder, has shared with doctors their conclusions after an autopsy in New York.

Grant died of an aneurysm after a previously undetected internal bleeding. The chest pressure he experienced shortly before his death may have been the first symptom of this.”writes Celine Gounder on Grant Wahl’s website.

“Neither CPR nor electric shocks could have saved him. His death was not due to COVID-19 or his vaccination. There is nothing criminal that can be linked to his death.”

Brother suspected the crime

A few days before his death, Grant Wahl was banned from entering the match between the USA and Wales when he was wearing a rainbow jersey.

Wal wore the shirt of his brother Eric, who is gay, and the brother had been previously convinced that the death was not an accident.

– My brother was healthy, he told me he had received death threats and I don’t think he just died, but I think he was murdered and I’m asking for all kinds of help, Eric Wahl said in a video on Twitter right after the death.

Grant Wahl is 48 years old.
