Häcken scores another win – and is top of the women’s league

The match ended with a win away from home after three goals.

Haken beat Eskilstuna 2-1 and got important points in the fight for the top spots in the Women’s League.

“I think we got into it more towards the end,” said Haken right-back Hana Wijk in the first half.

He pushed Eskilstuna to take the lead but ten minutes before the break, Haken scored.

It starts up a little bit temporarily. Eskilstuna is doing well and is very aggressive, so we have some problems preparing for the match. “But I think we got into it more towards the end,” Häcken’s Hana Wijk said in the first half.

Stine Larsen decisively broke the deadlock in the 34th minute.

Strong end after winning the ball

When right-back Hanna Wijk was sent off in the attacking half, she did not hesitate to throw the cross ball to the Danish striker in the goal area.

– I got a good deep ball from Anna (Siske) and hit her in it. Wijk says Stine (Larsen) and “Palle” (Pauline Hammarlund) are two players who are always there.

The 18-year-old was released from the right wing and hit a perfect cross headed by Larsen.

Then Eskilstuna returned to the match.

Häcken . Jumpers Rescued!

In the 63rd minute, Paulina Nystrom fired a shot from a cannon over the crossbar after it was unnoticed at the far post.

But the match is back again.

Just seven minutes into the intervention, Lunden Haken was saved by Marika Bergmann and fired the ball across the crossbar to score 2-1.

– I don’t remember him (the target) haha. I just know I’ve been playing “Palle” before on the wall and getting a shot. It was very nice. We have to get three points in all matches and I’m proud of the team, top scorer Haken Bergmann Lunden said after the match.

– We toil like animals.

In Haken’s next match, they will face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League qualifiers on September 21.
