Hambus Lindholm’s double feat as the Bruins won away

Hampus Lindholm, 29, assisted on two goals in the Boston Bruins’ 5-0 victory over the Nashville Predators.

With the two assists, the Swede also reached two important milestones.

– Of course it’s fun, says Lindholm to Expressen.

The first assist came midway through the second half, to Patrice Bergeron. In the closing stages of the match Hambus Lindholm also played forward for Trent Frederick.

The assists from Hampus Lindholm mean two important feats. The 29-year-old has now totaled 200 assists in the NHL, marking the first time he’s achieved 30 assists in a season.

– Of course it’s fun with the sights, but we’ve got a long season left. I’m just determined to build on this, and get better the longer the season goes on,” Lindholm tells Expressen.

Bruins lead the series

The Swede has played 646 matches in the National Hockey League. Before the Boston Bruins, Lindholm played for the Anaheim Ducks.

And the Nashville Predators competitor missed the Swedish Philip Forsberg, who was injured in the Philadelphia Flyers match last Saturday.

The Boston Bruins sit first in the Atlantic Division with 87 points, seven ahead of the Carolina Hurricanes in the league standings.
