Hedger Johan Hammer may lose overseas

The 28-year-old has grown into a cog in the successful Häcken middle lock with Even Hovland.

Now Johann Hammar may be the next man to leave Heisingen after Leo Benjson and Gustav Berggren.

Sportbladet could reveal that Hammar has a takeover clause, and that several clubs in both Scandinavia and southern Europe are interested in the center back already this summer.

Play in Everton Academy, rotation player in Malmö FF, battle for the bottom in the Premier League with the success of Ois and Allsvenskan with BK Hacken.

To describe Johann Hamar’s journey to the summit as crooked is no understatement.

– I’ve only been able to play regularly recently and I think it’s been very good. I have a coach who believes in me in Per Mathias (Hugmo) and I was determined to get a shirt in the end. And now, Hammers told Sportbladet earlier this summer they didn’t want to give it up.

Johan Hammer.

Despite success at Allsvenskan, Leo Bengtsson left to play in Cyprus, while Gustav Berggren recently moved to the Polish League.

Can move to southern Europe

Johann Hammar may be the next man to leave Heisingen to try his wings abroad.

Sportbladet can now reveal that Hammar’s efforts have garnered interest from clubs in Scandinavia and several Southern European League teams – and the centre-back also has a partial buyout clause in his contract that will enable the move already this summer.

The current contract with Häcken runs until December 2024.
