The first playoff matches start on March 11th and the last finals match takes place on April 13th.

How is the SHL Playoffs played?
A total of ten teams qualify for the playoffs, with teams 1-6 in the regular season advancing directly to the quarter-finals, while teams 7-10 in the regular season settling for the Round of 16 in a best-of-three match-up. Other playoff rounds are decided in best of seven matches.
The rule of thumb is that the highest-ranked team meets the lowest-ranked team in the series, the second-placed team meets the lowest-ranked team, and so on.
SHL 2023 Playoffs – How to play?
For the teams that finished 11th and 12th in the SHL table, the season is over. However, for the two worst-placed teams in the regular season, a worry-filled playoff awaits us – which will be decided in a best-of-seven match-up.
