It’s time for the draw for the 2022 UEFA Champions League.
The 32 clubs will be divided into eight different groups.
The draw takes place in Istanbul and begins at 18:00 on Thursday.
Real Madrid are the Champions League holders and on Thursday it was time for the group stage draw for this year’s edition of the tournament.
The draw begins at 6pm in Istanbul, which will also host the Champions League final next May.
On Wednesday, the last six teams were ready to play in the Champions League group stage by winning the play-off, and now this year’s draw has been completed.
The draw for the Champions League group stage will be broadcast on C More starting at 18.00
Seeding kits UEFA Champions League 2022
Group A consists of the Champions League, European League champions and the champions of the six top-ranked leagues.
In the 2-4 seeded group, the clubs are placed according to their points in the UEFA club standings.

Two teams from the same country cannot be included in the same group. Teams from the same countries will be placed so that their matches will not be played on the same day.
No other restrictions are presented prior to withdrawal.
The exact schedule will be announced a few hours after the draw and matches will be played on the following dates.
- September 6-7: round 1
- September 13-14: Round 2
- 4-5 October: Round 3
- October 11-12: Round 4
- October 25-26: Round 5
- 1 – 2 November: Round 6
The first and second from each group advance to the playoffs, with the draw for the round of 16 on November 7.
The top three places in the Champions League group stage could play in the Europa League, as they are drawn to the Round of 16.
