An away victory over Lulea – but a loss two days later at home against a struggling Rogel.
Prenas striker Linus Hollande, 25, has played in the SHL since 2015 and doesn’t waver when he said:
– I don’t remember that league was like this.
Brenas lost the final match before the first half with a score of 1-2. Rögle’s Brady Ferguson scored the winning goal with barely four minutes left in the third half.
We still think we’re fighting our way back into the match and getting 1-1, but it’s very difficult, it’s hard to create those real chances. It’s sad that the disc bounced its way and that they took second place, says Linus Holland.
The loss means Brynäs is in 10th place, with just three points to spare for a qualifying spot, when the SHL takes a two-week break for the national team. Had he instead had three points against Rögle, Brynäs would have only had three points up to third.

He made his SHL debut in March 2015 and is in his eighth season, but ranks this year’s season as the most uncertain.
– I don’t think I was part of such an equal league. Everyone beats everyone and it’s going to be fun and it’s going to be tight as every goal and point counts along the way, says Hollande, who has been one of the Brennas’ most consistent and energetic players through the fall.
– I was training as usual, but above all I think that the body has developed correctly and can absorb the training. I have matured, you might say.
About Brynäs höst, the helpful post says:
– A little up and down. We started all right before moving on to a real rally in Malmö (4-8). Then we went ahead and had a good few weeks, but the last six or seven games have been a bit uneven. I think we got to the level of every other game.
