Munich. The qualification limits for the FIFA World Cup in Budapest next summer have been introduced by the International Association of Athletics Federations.
And they are tougher than the restrictions already criticized at the recent waters in Eugene and the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
In men’s length, the maximum qualification limit is 8.25 – the maximum silver medalist Thobias Montler has exceeded only once in his outdoor career.

The new qualification limits count as of July 31, and at the moment, only four Swedish track and field athletes have exceeded them.
Mundo Duplantis in pole vault, Danielle Stahl and Simon Peterson in discus and Fanny Ross in shot put.
Thobias Montler’s silver jump of 8.06 here in EC isn’t even close.
Many of the qualifying limits are clearly better than the Swedish records, both at the women’s and men’s level.
Especially in the men’s 10,000m, where Johnny Danielson 27:55.74 is over 45 seconds off the WC qualifying mark of 27:10.00.
This corresponds to approximately one roll.
World Athletics has now offered a challenging straightforward qualification, as they want half of the active to make it to WC through the rankings.
This means that more Swedes will qualify in this way.
Budapest’s restroom will be scheduled for August 19-27 next summer.
