Isaac Hein on the letter from Slavia Prague

Isak Hien attracts foreign interest.

But Djurgården rejected the bids received.

– If there’s a team that gets past Boss, says Hen, I have to move on.

In a week, Allsvenskan will start again. For the part of Djurgarden, an interesting second half of the season awaits, as the Stockholm club will try to combine the first competition in the series with the European qualifiers. However, the question is whether Isaac Henn is still on the team when will everything be decided this fall?

The 23-year-old joined Djurgården from Vasalund prior to last season. But only this year the midfielder got enough time to play for the Allsvenskan. In total, he made nine appearances for the Allsvenskan this spring, seven of them from the start.

– I think I did well. You seem to be growing in confidence and it only gets better with every passing match. There is hard work behind it, but the more comfortable you become, the better you will perform. At the first show, I may not have played my best match, but since then it hasn’t gone up until after that, he told Sportbladet.

He’s up, but the truth is that Hien got punched after the premiere against Degerfors (3-2). The midfielder had to start off the bench for the next four matches.

– It was difficult, of course. We won the premiere and I still think I put in a totally creditable effort. At the same time, I fractured my hand and played with a plastic splint, so I can understand that you may be unsure of how much this affected me.

While Heen was impressed once he played, foreign clubs opened their eyes to the 23-year-old. Expressen previously wrote that Czech Republic Slavia Prague had made an offer for the player – and Sportbladet recently reported that Djurgården had turned down a bid of around ten million kronor.

“Bosse may see value in the sale”

It is interesting, of course, that foreign clubs are interested. It will be a bit of a receipt that you do well. I didn’t have time to land it, because I haven’t played much yet. Then it becomes difficult to absorb everything, as things go very quickly. But I wouldn’t say it’s fun for foreign clubs to be interested, says Hein.

Are you affected by it in daily life?

– No, not really. Probably because it went too fast. It wasn’t because I had also played in Allsvenskan for five years and started looking away. I just focus on the next training and the next match. It was very easy to protect against that. To be written and spoken is beyond my control.

How did you feel when you heard about the Wills of Slavia Prague?

– It was an extra receipt. There is a big difference between interest and exploratory bids and tangible bids. Their presentation was real proof that something good had been done. Refusal to bid is not really a problem for me.

Djurgorden, of course, has plans and ideas. In the end, it is Djurgarden who appreciates his players. There is not much to talk about.

Express your desires in Boss Anderson (Sports director) If a club appears you want to move to?

– Of course we have a dialogue when bids come. But I have no opinions about this work. Boss has to take care of that. If the team gets past Bosse, I have to jump from there.

Are you inclined towards leaving or staying in Djurgården?

It’s hard for me to say, because everything is moving very fast in the world of football. As it now appears, I have no other ideas than Djurgården. There is a lot in the current and upcoming match. If the situation changes…who knows, Bosse might see value in the sale. But in this case, I have to take it then.

At the same time as interest around Hien is growing, there have been more and more rumors that Marcus Danielson may be returning to Djurgården. In May, Sportbladet wrote that Danielson would terminate his contract with the Chinese Dalian Pro this summer. How will Heinz Settatino be affected if Djurgarden receives another midfielder?

– He’s trained with us since last winter. So of course I know McCann is a good football player. But I didn’t think much about it. As always with football, there is a competitive mode. If you want to be the best, you also have to play and compete with the best. Hein says, if he comes, he will come, there is not much to think about for me.

Wouldn’t it be difficult if Djurgarden recruited another centre-back?

– number. At Djurgården we have very good midfielders since I came. If I remember correctly, there were six of us last year so it’s nothing new that it’s going to be a competitive situation. Competition is important.
